Light-Speed Station
Light Speed Station is a virtual lab which teaches the basic principles of Einstein's Theory of Special Relativity. Set in a powerful train station with a train that can move almost the speed of light, help run several experiments to uncover the mysteries of fast moving objects!
I've called this piece of software a 'virtual lab' because it is more of an exploration than a game. That being said, it is designed to be entertaining and understandable for anyone, regardless of their prior knowledge of physics.
The lab can be fully played in about 15-20 minutes. When playing for the first time, don't be frustrated if you can't wrap your head around what is going on. These concepts are inherently difficult to comprehend because they contradict the way that we naturally perceive the world. It will likely take time and experimentation before you can fully buy into them.
It's recommended to play in full-screen with audio!
